  meditation

Meditation Retreat means you are taking space to explore
and come to know your Being. If you want to find inner peace
and are interested in developing your spiritual awareness of
yourself and the world you live in, then these 8 days in Satori
Retreat offer you a radical meditation technique and process
that will take you on an amazing journey of self discovery.
You may come to know for the first time in your life and with
absolute certainty who you are and why you are here.

  what is satori?
the ultimate radical zen retreat
Satori is radical inquiry. It is going in the heart and in the belly
to see and feel what is in the way of being myself. What is
my true nature? How do I lose myself or feel that there isn’t
all of me here, now? What is this restlessness that pushes
me to do and do? What is this longing for being more real,
truer, complete? What am I doing here?
Self-inquiry means to open and unsettle the mechanism
that destroys the present by repeating the past. Self-inquiry
means being so present in the here/now that I can have a
direct experience of myself and reality, fresh and alive,
free of the filters of conditioning.
The aim of this retreat is having this direct experience of
being, an experience of awakening.
Satori is not therapy - yet is highly therapeutic - and
doesn’t have the goal of finding temporary solutions to daily
problems - but finds them. Satori aims to dissolve the feeling
of separation with life which is the only cause of problems.
An intense, honest, open and compassionate inquiry using
existential questions: “Who am I? Who is in? What is Life?
What is Love?” and others. Each one of these questions is a
path that can take you from the confusion of the personality
to the peak of clarity.

quotes
Satori is like lightning – you can see a glimpse of the whole…then it disappears. But you will not be the same again. It isnot final enlightenment, but a great step towards it… You have had a glimpse, now you can search for more of it. Now you have tasted it, now Buddhas will become meaningful.

osho – and the flowers showered

There is no greater mystery than this, that we keep seeking reality though in fact we are reality. We think that that there is something hiding reality and that this must be destroyed before reality is gained. How ridiculous! A day will dawn when you laugh at all your past efforts. That which will be on the day you laugh is also here and now.

what people say
I
found a reference point inside which I’d never had before;
a place of home, of knowing in the middle of disaster that
there is something else. After so many years, the light went
on and never really went off again - something I was waiting
for after years working in therapy. This meditation retreat
gave the feeling that IT IS POSSIBLE !

In Satori I am reminded of what really gives my life meaning
and depth. Being guided by the Koans [Life Questions] is
like pulling all the curtains back that are blocking the way
for me to really look inside. As a Medical Doctor busy with
the problems of other people, in the beginning it is always
a bit of a struggle for me to turn my focus inwards and
face whatever is there. Just as in real life, moving through
all the blissful ups and the depressing downs, at one point
the balance of not being identified with the ups or with the
downs unfolds like an inexpressible relaxation.

I hope this message finds you well. I have been waiting for
the right time to write to you and thank you personally for the
Satori retreat and I guess now is that time. Now is the only
time really...
You are an amazing man to put so much time into this
incredible teaching. I have had my eyes opened further by
you and by the process of Satori. I have particularly been
impressed with the words and teachings of Osho as I was
not really familiar with them before Satori. He is just so
beautiful.
I thought I wanted to say a number of things to you, but
they all seem irrelevant. Just stories, all unimportant. Being
reminded to call on my koan has been invaluable and I know
it will continue to be so in the future. I am so grateful for
my koan. I LOVE it. “What is Life?” It immediately connects
me to the joy and beauty of Life in this moment, and there
is a connection to the intense feelings I had during the last
couple of days of Satori when via this koan I felt I reached a
place of presence and consiousness that I had not achieved
before....
With much gratitude...

I AM sitting here in loves house.
I asked and I have received the only gift I have ever longed
for,
Love In My Heart
Peace In My Mind
And
Every Reason To Live
The most precious gift, the only real gift I could ever receive.
The work you share is divine and your CD brings joy to my
heart and tears to my eyes.
After life times of searching I have finally been blessed and I
am eternally grateful.
Thank you with all of the love that is pouring from my being
in this moment.
God Bless Your Glorious and Precious Heart.

      poetry
autobiography in five chapters

I walk down the street
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I fall in
I am lost … I am hopeless
It isn’t my fault
It takes forever to find a way out
I walk down the same street
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I pretend I don’t see it
I fall in again
I can’t believe I’m in the same place
But it isn’t my fault
It still takes a long time to get out
I walk down the same street
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I see it is there
I still fall in … it’s a habit
My eyes are open
I know where I am
It is my fault
I get out immediately
I walk down the same street
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I walk around it
I walk down another street

      what will the week offer?
A nourishing environment deep in nature – fresh air, walks
and beautiful healthy food – A Real Retreat! Physical dynamic meditations used to both detox the physical and emotional body.

CLEANSE – Body mind and spirit
TIME OUT – A New way to be
LOVE – The ultimate connection, your authentic self
LIBERATION – Drop suffering, open to truth

The absolute recognition and rest from who you are not, the
Ego. And the experience of simply YOU!
Daily contemplation assignments that are designed and
structured to supportively take you to the next step in your
inner understanding and help deepen your process – this is
not a passive Vipassana style retreat!
The exquisite journey of connection – with yourself, Existence and your fellow seekers at Satori Retreat.
The process is highly structured with a definite focus on you
getting to know
you. It will reveal how you abandon yourself
with each person you are with – how your authentic self is compromised as you adapt to get love, approval, recognition, your own way – to be desired, wanted, needed, liked etc. There is no other process that illuminates so vividly
the ‘games’ we continually play and therefore illuminates the
way for real liberation.
